The Organic Luxury Shop
Is there an organic beauty store in Munich and where can I buy good organic skincare in the city? It’s a question I’ve asked myself a lot since moving back to the beautiful Bavarian capital. And I’ve been surprised a lot as I’ve walked by so many new (to me) stores with great collections of products. One of these is Organic Luxury, which is tucked away in the Theatinerpassage, right accross the Residence and Opera in Munich’s city center. The name says it all: the store offers a luxurious selection of products by such companies as Tata Harper or Rahua, who only use carefully sourced, high-quality ingredients. You can be sure to find only certified organic cosmetics here, no “natural” cosmetics. So it allows you to shop with good conscience, if your wallet permits 😉
The range of brands and products offered at this organic beauty shop is a dream. Although Organic Luxury doesn’t have an online shop, if you’re located in Germany, you can still call or email to place a home delivery order of your favorite product.
Here are just a few of the brands you can shop there:
- Tata Harper
- Susanne Kaufmann
- The Organic Pharmacy
- Organic Avenue
- RMS Beauty
and many many more… just take a look yourself
& the Organic Luxury Day Spa
If you walk up the stairs in the back of the store, you reach the first floor with its spa rooms. Organic Luxury has a day spa that offers wellness treatments from head to toe. The spa products they use are by beauty brands such as Susanne Kaufmann, Julisis, The Organic Pharmacy or Ama.la. I came for a customer event, to which the store had invited. It was a lovely day during which everyone could get to know new products during mini facials and professional make up.
My mini facial by Ama.la started with a spritz of their fair trade cocoa mist. This was an absolutely amazing sensation, which transported me into a state of relaxation and happiness. As you know, cocoa is not only packed with antioxidants but also contains serotonin, thus working double-shifts in helping to rejuvenate. The series of cleanser, creams and a yoghurt mask with jasmine, cocoa, macadamia and rosehip made my skin glow for days.
The price for such a facial is surprisingly affordable: you pay 80 euros for a 60 minute facial, or about 120 euros for 90 minutes of pure bliss. If you’re looking for an organic beauty store in Munich, it’s worth stopping by Organic Luxury.
